In his book, The Power of Now, Eckart Tolle says that although it is true that only an unconscious person will manipulate, lie and deceive another person, only an unconscious person can be manipulated and deceived.

I LOVE Eckhart Tolle.
Psychiatrists and psychologists are unable to identify sociopaths. The sociopath can pass a lie detector test. SA's are sociopaths as they cannot feel empathy and only mimic human behavior to get what they need. The SA can look you straight in the eye and lie. Then after their deceit is dicovered, necessary for their own well-being, they can wear the wolf in sheeps clothing garb of "recovery." It can easily run the span of the brief human lifetime...
